In my opinion, you should get the third generation. they have the same amount of memory and they really dont really feel significantly different. in fact, the third feels a bit much better since there is much more room for your hand to reach all around. the “shorty” model still fits in little places and it can display video (just in case you feel at some point you want a film or show or a thing). also, the second generations bugs are fixed in the shorty’s.
